BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors is a dedicated group of unpaid volunteers elected by the membership at our Annual Meeting to serve a three year term. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Interpret the organization's work and vales and promote the organization.
  • Act in the best interests of the organization.
  • Take seriously the major legal responsibilities of serving on a board, including and especially the fiduciary role.
  • Stay informed about what is going on in the organization.
  • Participate in and take responsibility for making decision on issues, policies and other board matters.

SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE

The Supervisory Committee is responsible for performing an audit function to inspect the credit union’s records for accuracy, its assets for security and its procedures for the proper handling and use of funds. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Review internal controls.
  • Review examination and audit findings and follow-up to ensure that management takes the necessary corrective action.
  • Research member complaints.
